egresStudio is a studio based design collaborative made up of likeminded Architecture students from the University of Newcastle.

 Our aim is to design, document and construct real projects under the guidance of qualified Architects and engineers whilst undertaking our degree. We immerse ourselves in all aspects of our projects, from the design right through to the construction of the building. This approach will not only provide a better understanding of architectural practices and the intertwined industries but also a practical knowledge of how buildings are assembled.

The educational benefits of this endeavour are not limited to Newcastle, with participants from Universities across Australia and New Zealand joining the team during the construction phase of our first project '3 houses at Pokolbin', gaining first hand site and building experience.
