'Bath-house'

In mid 2011, egresStudio commenced their second project, ‘The bathhouse’, in a joint venture with the University of Newcastle that was initiated by Jo Baker and Dean Williams, project coordinators of egresStudio. The project provided 120 second year architecture students from Newcastle University the opportunity to design a bathhouse to compliment our building. Students involved in this exciting project had the benefit of architect Peter Stutchbury’s advice during their site visit and feedback from Suters Architects during their presentations at university. Their project formed part of the Universities official syllabus for the year.

A winning design has now been chosen and egresStudio will assist them with their document preparation over the coming months. The students will then work with our team during 2012 to bring the building to fruition.

Concept Designs
